Jane Wray

Award winning artist

About the artist

I am a multi-award winning pastellist. I was recently nominated for and accepted as an Associate of the Royal Art Society. I have held several solo exhibitions. I have more solo exhibitions planned for 2024 with one being at the Old Fire Station in Kiama and another at The Watch House, Balmain.

My work is in numerous private collections. It is always so rewarding to see many familiar faces at my solo exhibitions coming back to add another piece to their homes and office spaces.

Over the years I have featured in many publications and on local radio, including several times in ‘Australian Artist’ magazine.

I have been invited to demonstrate and tutor for many art societies and have also been hired to  judge exhibitions.

My Art Community

To keep my work fresh I enjoy interaction with other artists. I am a member of the following art societies:

  • Associate of the Royal Art Society of NSW (ARAS)
  • Pastel Society of Australia (PSA)
  • The Australian Guild of Realistic Artists (AGRA)
  • Bowral District Art Society (BDAS)
  • Oatley 101 Society of Artists
  • Friends of Campbelltown Arts Centre
